The Lenovo-owned ZUK unveiled the ZUK Z2 earlier this week, with pre-registrations for the first sale of the handset opening soon after. Now, in just three days, the total registrations for the handset has crossed the 6 million mark.

For its price 1799 Yuan ($275), the ZUK Z2 packs in a 5-inch Full HD display, a Snapdragon 820 chipset, 4GB RAM, 3500mAh battery, and a fingerprint scanner, so its not surprising to see such a huge interest among consumers for it.

There are still three more days left for the pre-registrations to end, so there is a possibility that the total registrations will cross the 10 million mark.

The first sale of ZUK Z2 is scheduled for June 7 at 10:00AM in China. It will be interesting to see if ZUK/Lenovo will have enough units in stock to prepare for the first flash sale, though that seems unlikely to me. Just for comparison, the first sale for Xiaomi’s Mi 5 in China received a total of 16.8 million registrations.

Sadly, Lenovo sells products from its ZUK brand only in China and India, so even if the ZUK Z2 has caught your attention, there is not much you can do to get your hands on it, except perhaps trying to import it from some reseller websites.
