At the tail-end of March, the ZTE Quartz was photographed in the wild ahead of any kind of announcement, suggesting it would become official soon.
And that is indeed the case. ZTE has officially announced the Quartz smartwatch, which features Android Wear 2.0. It also boasts a 1.4-inch 400×400 round AMOLED display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 2100 processor, 768MB of RAM, and 4GB of built-in storage. There’s built-in cellular connectivity, a microphone and speaker, as well as an NFC chip and a heart rate monitor. It supports 22mm straps, which can be swapped out based on your preference.
It will retail for $192 when it launches on April 14 on T-Mobile’s network. It will be available through T-Mobile’s online storefront first, and then it will launch in T-Mobile’s retail stores on April 21.
Do you think you’ll check it out later this month?
