In early February, a report provided the first official look at the Quartz, an upcoming smartwatch from ZTE.
At the time, details were light, but we did get a pretty good look at the smartwatch from the press render. Now, we’ve got a clear look at the ZTE Quartz out in the wild ahead of its official unveiling. As previously confirmed, the Quartz will feature a round face, and it will be running Android Wear 2.0 out of the box.
The Quartz will feature cellular connectivity, so using some features on the wearable won’t require a connection to a smartphone. According to the report from Android Police, what the Quartz won’t have is NFC for mobile payments, and it won’t boast a heart rate sensor, either. There is no spinning bezel on the Quartz.
As for how much the Quartz will cost, and when it will be available, that remains unknown for now.
