Amazon and Google buried the hatchet earlier this year. Until recently Amazon Prime was blocked on Chromecast while YouTube app was not available on FireTV. Our Take

More than often, bitter rivalry between companies like Amazon and Google negatively affect the customers. This is especially the case when each one of them tries to block their ecosystem and forcibly tie down the users to the same. It is good that Amazon and Google have reached an agreement and we only hope that other companies follow suit.
