The Dot View case for the HTC One (M8) is a very unique case that any OEM has probably ever released for one of its devices. By default, HTC only allows users to pick up a call, view the weather or their missed calls using various gestures on the case.

However, an upcoming Xposed module for the One (M8) looks to greatly expand its functionality by adding features like the ability to make a call or play or pause music using simple gestures.

The Xposed module is still in development and the developer plans on adding more features like access to a Calculator and gesture based IR commands before releasing it to the public. Below is a quick video showing the Xposed module in action:

The Xposed module will work on the Sense as well as the Google Play edition variant of the HTC One (M8) without any issues. It has been hardly a month since the One (M8) and the Dot View case went on sale and some interesting mods have already started popping up for them. With time, expect development to advance further with some powerful mods for the case to pop-up.
