With Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, Google introduced the concept of multiple users in Android. The company further refined this feature in Android 4.3 but has restricted it only to Android tablets. While some custom ROMs do bring multiple users support on phones, installing them is a very tedious process in itself.

Now, an XDA member — safet.me — has managed to pack the multiple profile feature in an Xposed module, allowing any Xposed framework user to enjoy it on their handset. The module shows the list of users on the lock screen as well as on the Power menu for quickly and easily switching between them. It also allows you to restrict or enable access to your installed apps and their data with other users.

The only downside of the module is that the Phone app will not work for all the newly created users. Also, keep in mind that the module only works on devices running stock Android or an AOSP based ROM. It, however, does not work on the Moto X because of some kernel and filesystem differences.
