Android OEMs have been adding quite a lot of camera related features to their devices like slow-motion video recording, drama shot, vertical panorama and more. The Sony Xperia Z1 is no different, and comes with an exclusive app called MotionShot, which allows its users to capture a motion in just a single image, by taking multiple images and combining them into one. The app has been exclusively available on the Xperia Z1 until now, but XDA member — xperiaz2 — has managed to port the app to all Android devices running Ice Cream Sandwich or higher.  The app has been packaged into a simple APK file for easy installation, and does not require root access or any other kind of hackery to be installed.

The application has been reported to work fine on the most of the Android devices, including those running some form of a custom ROM like CyanogenMod or AOKP. There might be a few issues here and there but that is a given considering that the app was only intended for the Xperia Z1.

Do keep in mind that the app requires at least 500MB of free space to work properly. Head over to this XDA thread for the download link of the APK.
