I’m not going to lie to you, I used to be one of those people who made fun of large phones. When I saw the first generation Note, I thought it was the most idiotic product ever invented. But then, for reasons I won’t mention here because I don’t want to bore you, I decided to take the plunge and buy a Note II. Since then I’ve fallen in love with these laughably huge handset, and I’m looking forward to seeing how much bigger they can get.
With that in mind, let’s bring up Sony’s latest flagship, the Xperia Z Ultra. It’s a 1080p phone with Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 800 chip and a 6.44 inch display.
Too large? Maybe, but I still want to try it out.
Unfortunately, the phone has just appeared on Amazon UK, and it’s $1,240.
Poop.
