In May of last year, Xiaomi officially unveiled the Mi TV 2, which featured a 4K display and a ridiculously low price tag.
Now, the company has officially unveiled the newest model in its Mi TV lineup, with the Mi TV 3, and manages to keep plenty of high-profile specifications on a TV that still features a remarkably small price tag, considering. The new Mi TV 3 features a 60-inch 4K display, and the TV itself measures in at only 11.66mm. There’s a MStar 6A928 processor under the hood, which features a Cortex-A17 paired with a Mali T760 GPU. As noted by Neowin, Xiaomi doesn’t mention any specifics regarding the RAM, but there is 8GB eMMC 5.0 for the flash storage.
The Mi TV 3 features 3 HDMI ports, a pair of USB ports, and a single VGA port. There’s AV-in, an Ethernet port, a standard RF Modulator, as well as an output for a subwoofer. The TV also supports virtual Surround Sound.
The Mi TV 3 costs only RMB 4,999, or just $780. As of right now, the Android TV-powered set is only available in China.
There’s a Xiaomi speaker bar, too, which will retail for RMB 999, or $160.
