Mi Smart Scale

Apart from the Redmi 2A, Xiaomi also announced the Mi Smart Scale, Mi Smart Power Strip, a Pink edition of Mi Note and the 55-inch Mi TV2.

The Mi Smart Scale is a Wi-Fi enabled weighing machine, which Xiaomi claims has an accuracy of up to 50gms. The machine can also send the data to Xiaomi’s Mi Fit app that works in tandem with the Mi band to track down the wearer’s steps. It comes with hidden LED lights that automatically glow to show the weight of the user. The Mi Smart Scale can keep a log of weights of up to 16 people simultaneously, and costs only RMB 99.

    Mi Power Strip

    The Mi Smart Power Strip is a power strip with three power sockets and three USB ports that are capable of supplying up to 2.1A power, and are Quick Charge 2.0 compliant. The power strip has a sleek and simple design, and costs only RMB 49.

    Xiaomi Mi TV 2

    As for the Mi TV 2, the 55-inch LED TV uses a Samsung LCD panel and has a 4K Ultra HD resolution. Other features of the TV include a quad-core Cortex-A7 processor clocked at 1.4GHz, a Mali-760MP4 GPU, 8GB of internal storage, 2GB of DDR3 RAM, dual band Wi-Fi, 8-speaker Bluetooth sound bar with an aluminium subwoofer and more for only RMB 4999 ($806).

    Xiaomi did not provide any information as to when all its new devices unveiled today will be available for sale outside of China.
