It is widely known that the white Nexus 4 is, in fact, a real device, and not just a mockup from someone on the Internet. Pictures of the white Nexus 4 had leaked quite a few months ago, and since then the device has made timely appearance in photos to remind people of its existence, and its impending release. Brian Klug from AnandTech also managed to get his hands on a white Nexus 4 at the Google I/O, where the device was expected to be announced.
Today, Artem from Android Police got tipped to some exclusive press photos of the white Nexus 4, further solidifying the fact that the device announcement is imminent. The ‘white’ Nexus 4 follows the same constrasty color combination as the white Galaxy Nexus, with a white back cover and the front adored with black. Along with some press photos, Artem was also tipped that Google won’t be releasing a 32GB variant of the Nexus 4, and the white variant will come in 8 and 16GB capacities only.
Other specs of the white Nexus 4 will remain similar to its black sibling, so don’t expect an updated Nexus 4 with LTE support to be announced. It is rumored that Google would unveil the white Nexus 4 along with Android 4.3, and perhaps an updated Nexus 7, on June 10th.
