WhatsApp Voice Mail

WhatsApp continues to bring new features to the mega popular platform, with the most recent update adding end-to-end encryption to all of its messaging options.

Now, according to a report from PhoneRadar, another update is coming down the pipe, and this one is focusing on even more ways to communicate. First up, the ability to record and send voice mails to someone using the service as well. The report indicates that you’ll be able to record and then send the voice mail while you’re making the phone call, and the two options, as seen in the image above, will appear after an unknown amount of time.

Another feature is the ability to immediately call back someone that had just called you. You’ll apparently be able to access the call back option from a missed call without actually launching into the app first, which should make it easily accessible from a notification.

WhatsApp ZIP file

Finally, WhatsApp already supports sending a variety of file types, including PDF, DOCX, VCF, and others, and now it looks like the app will soon support sending ZIP files as well.

There’s no word on when these new features will find their way to WhatsApp, but one can hope it’s soon.
