Back in June, Vivo officially launched its first smartphone with a pop-up front-facing camera. The idea was to keep the bezels as small as possible without requiring a notch.
Now it looks like the company is ready to launch another handset with the pop-up camera design. The company took to its social media platforms this week to tease the incoming announcement of the V15 Pro. Instead of having an 8-megapixel front-facing camera, though, this handset bumps things up considerably to a 32MP shooter. That will make a solid statement on the bullet point specs list for sure.
Otherwise, not much is known about the upcoming V15 Pro from Vivo. Rumor has it the handset will be priced somewhere between $280 and $420 when it launches, but it’s likely this won’t be a handset that sees a launch in the United States at all. When it does arrive, the handset will also have an in-display fingerprint reader for biometric security.

It may see a launch in India, though. Either way, we will know more when Vivo officially announces the handset on February 20. That is the same day Samsung is going to announce its Galaxy S10 lineup, so Vivo has to be hoping it can get any time in the busy news cycle that day.
Will a 32MP front-facing camera that pops out of the device make that a reality? We will have to wait and see. What do you think of the pop-out camera design?
