The Samsung Galaxy S4 mini, officially announced on May 30th, has already been reviewed less than a week later by the guys at Phone Arena. How exactly did they score a review unit? I don’t know, and they never tell me when I ask them, but that’s life.
Just to recap, what’s this phone all about? It’s a 4.3 inch 960 x 540 pixel version of the GS4. Under the hood there’s a dual core Snapdragon 400 clocked at 1.7 GHz, which according to benchmarks is about as fast as 2012’s flagship phones. There’s 1.5 GB of RAM, an 8 megapixel camera, and a 1,900 mAh battery. Depending on where you live, you’ll even be able to buy a dual SIM version.
