Google is going to hold an event in California in less than 12 hours where it’s widely understood they’re going to announce Android 4.3 and a new Nexus 7. One lucky Android fan got his hands on the new Nexus tablet before everyone else, and he (or she!) sent a ton of photos and benchmarks results to Android Police. Literally everything you could want to know about this device has now been unveiled. The full blown spec sheet, the retail packaging … everything.

Just to recap: 7 inch 1920 x 1200 pixel screen, Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro clocked at 1.5 GHz, 2 GB of RAM, Android 4.3 (of course), and … that’s about it. Now we need an official price tag.

Update: $230 for 16 GB model, $270 for the 32 GB model, via Best Buy.

Oh and as for the benchmarks, it scores around 20,000 in AnTuTu, which is a bit higher than my Note II, actually. How much of that is due to Qualcomm vs. Exynos and how much of that is due to Android 4.3 optimizations? I guess I’ll have to wait until later this year when my device gets updated.
