On February 3, it was teased on Verizon’s website that the Nexus 6 is still “coming soon.” Now, a couple of days later, the first image of what the device will reportedly look like has surfaced.

The images of the handset, published by Phandroid, which showcase the backside of the upcoming smartphone, show what everyone already expected: Verizon’s Nexus 6 looks exactly like any other Nexus 6 that has already been launched. Except, of course, the carrier branding that is so obvious at the bottom of the back cover. The logo is just as it always is: The Verizon name brand, along with the large checkmark just above it.

Of course, it’s hard to gauge just how big the logo will be on the final product, but as it stands right now, it doesn’t look like it’s going to be all that big. Comparing it to the giant Nexus logo makes it downright tiny, in fact. If nothing else, it could be worse.

The front of the device is still a mystery, though, so it could very well be branded as well, which probably wouldn’t surprise anyone in the slightest.
