HTC has been trying its best to roll out the Android 4.3 update for the One in the United States. The company has successfully rolled out the update for the T-Mobile, AT&T and Sprint variant in the last one month or so.

HTC had promised that it would update all the carrier variants of the One to Android 4.3 by the end of October. Sadly, it looks like that won’t be happening as Verizon owners will have to wait for another month for the update to be available. Verizon has apparently rejected HTC’s current software build and so the company needs to “spin a new SW & re-test 4.3 update,” which can take nearly a month as said by the Jason Mackenzie on Twitter, president of HTC USA.

Even though the update has been delayed, HTC should be commended for their hard work, quick software update times with the One and the transparency in the delay/roll-out of updates.
