As various leaks had indicated, Verizon today went ahead and announced that it will be carrying the Nexus 6 on its network from March 12. The company also thanked all Nexus fans in its announcement for their patience.
The Motorola-made Nexus will be available to order on Verizon’s online store from tomorrow (i.e. March 12), and can be directly purchased through retail stores from March 19. It will cost $249.99 on a two-year contract, but can also be purchased under Verizon’s EDGE plan for $27.08 for the next 24 months.
In case you purchase the Nexus 6 from Verizon before 31st March, you will be receiving 6 months of free Google Play Music All Access subscription.
Sadly, Verizon is only selling the 32GB variant of the Nexus 6 in Midnight Black color.
Verizon’s Nexus 6 will be running on Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box, and will feature support for Advanced Calling a.k.a HD Voice over its VoLTE network.
