While Motorola is gearing up to adopt the hole-punch design philosophy, it turns out the company has a smartphone coming down the pipe with four rear cameras, too.
OnLeaks and CashKaro published the images on Wednesday, showcasing a Motorola-branded smartphone with four cameras on the back. The cameras will be housed in a slightly raised section on the rear case, with a very large, very distinct Motorola logo below the cameras. And you might notice that there isn’t a fingerprint reader on the back of the handset, a place that Motorola typically inserts the biometric security feature. That’s because in this handset, the rumor mill suggests Motorola is adopting an in-display fingerprint reader.
Details on this particular handset are pretty thin. We don’t know, for example, what the megapixel count for each rear camera will be, let alone the front-facing camera. But the leak does say this device has a 6.2-inch display, and that it will feature a 3.5mm headphone jack, along with a USB-C port for charging.
We don’t know the name of the phone, its intended release date, the more important specifications, or just when Motorola plans on launching it, either. But if you’re eager to learn more about a Motorola phone equipped with four rear cameras, the rumor mill will more than likely sift the details from the dirt soon enough.
What do you think of the design?
