T-Mobile today announced that it will resume sales of Galaxy Note 7 from October 5th. T-Mobile is not the first operator in the United States to start selling the Note 7 though, since Verizon and Sprint have been selling the device since September 21st.
T-Mobile had been offering replacement Note 7 units to all customers who had purchased the handset initially since September 21st itself. With T-Mobile Sprint, and Verizon now having resumed sales of the Note 7, AT&T is the only major carrier that is yet to start selling the device again.
The new Galaxy Note 7 units come with a green battery indicator that is displayed on the status bar, Power menu, and on Always On Display. The new Note 7 units also come with a square symbol on their packaging.
Samsung had announced towards the end of September that it had replaced about 500,000 units of the 1 million units of the Galaxy Note 7 it had sold in the United States. Samsung and CSPC had announced a formal recall of the Note 7 in the United States towards mid-September after the company had announced a voluntary recall in early September.
