T-Mobile today announced its new ‘Un-carrier amped’ move — Mobile Without Borders. This move from the Magenta carrier will allow subscribers of its Simple Choice postpaid and prepaid plans to use their number without incurring any additional charges in Canada and Mexico.
This means that T-Mobile customers in the United States can travel to Mexico and Canada and make/receive calls, send texts, and use LTE without worrying about their phone bill skyrocketing due to international roaming charges. Additionally, customers will also be able to make calls to Canada and Mexico from their home state in the United States at no additional cost.

For now, the ‘Mobile Without Borders’ plan will only be available to T-Mobile’s Simple Choice postpaid and prepaid subscribers who are primarily resident of the United States. The new plans will be available from July 15, and existing customers will have to manually get themselves enrolled to it..
