Oppo has recently made official the R7s, which brings plenty of noteworthy features to a device that hovers over the line between midrange and flagship.
The Oppo-branded R7s is now official. It features a 5.5-inch AMOLED 2.5D “arc edge display,” which has a resolution of 1920×1080, which is flanked by bezels that are only 2.2mm thin. On the back, there’s a 13-megapixel camera, and on the front an 8MP front-facing shooter. Inside, the device boasts 4GB of RAM, 32GB of built-in storage, and a battery that measures in at 3070mAh.
The R7s features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 quad-core processor, and it’s running Android 5.1 underneath Oppo’s proprietary ColorOS 2.1 user interface. Oppo says the new software means that apps will open faster, has a 30% faster boot time, and an “efficient memory cleaner.”
Unfortunately for those that might be interested in the R7s, as of the time of this writing there is no information regarding the device’s launch strategy, or how much the handset will cost.
With that in mind, what do you think of the Oppo R7s?
