Nexbit Robin

The Nextbit Robin was one of the more talked-about devices of 2015, even if it was primarily a project backed on Kickstarter. But that’s changing in 2016.

For the first 1,000 backers of the cloud-focused Robin, they’ll begin to see shipments being sent out within the second week of February, and arrivals should take place on February 16. There’s just one caveat: This is for the GSM-only model to start. While CDMA units do exists, thanks to further backing on Kickstarter, those won’t begin shipping until later.

It’s good news for Kickstarter backers, surely, even if those who backed the CDMA model have to keep waiting a bit longer. Hopefully open sales of the devices won’t be too far behind at this point.
