In February, it was confirmed that the Moto 360 would be added to Moto Maker sometime in March, and Motorola has stuck to their plans.
Right now, anyone who wants to get their hands on a (slightly) customized Moto 360 can do so, thanks to availability through Moto Maker. Motorola’s customization options for their Android Wear-based smartwatch are limited, especially compared to the options available to the Moto X, but anyone that has been on the fence about buying one because they couldn’t get a specific band or color may have a new reason to get excited.
There are three finishes to choose from, between light, dark and a $50 champagne gold option. As previously reported, there are three 22mm bands to choose from, and six different metal bands to choose from — each of which will add a $50 bump to the total. When it comes to the watch faces, there are 11 to choose from, and the one that’s chosen will come pre-loaded on the Moto 360 out of the box.
The selection may not be as good as the Moto 360, but something is better than nothing and the Moto 360’s arrival in Moto Maker is certainly welcomed.
