Meizu 16s official

Meizu is back at it again, launching their latest flagship smartphone. As expected, the Meizu 16s is a top-tier handset, featuring worthwhile specs under the hood while also keeping the price tag generally low (compared to other flagships).

Meizu has officially announced the 16s this week. It’s a handset that boasts a 6.2-inch AMOLED display with a 2232×1080 resolution and a “new gen” in-display fingerprint sensor. Around back, there is a 48-megapixel camera, paired with a 20MP secondary shooter. There is a 20MP front-facing camera on the other side. And inside, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor will keep things running along smoothly.

The Meizu 16s features several variants, including either 8GB or 8GB of RAM, and either 128GB or 256GB (this option is exclusive to China) of built-in storage. The battery measures in at 3600mAh, there is no expandable storage, and no wireless charging. The Meizu 16s is running Android 9.0 Pie out of the box, though.

The handset is priced at 3198 RMB (about $475 USD). It’s available in Carbon Black, Pearl White, and Phantom Blue. It’s available to pre-order in China beginning today.
