BlackBerry Venice render

Just yesterday, a report surfaced that suggested the BlackBerry Venice, an Android-powered slider, would be making an exclusive launch on AT&T sometime in August.

Now, as casually as one might be able to when talking about a brand new, unannounced handset, Evan Blass (@evleaks) has also showcased what the handset will look like, thanks to a newly leaked image. As we can see above, the device appears to have a curved display, with a microUSB port and headphone jack on the bottom. The dotted area below the display is more than likely a front-facing speaker. It’s also running some version of Android 5.0 Lollipop as well.

While this is far from official, it is a good look at the handset if this is indeed the final product. If it is, then BlackBerry appears to have a nice looking Android-based smartphone coming down the pipe. (tjc.org)
