T-Mobile has revealed its Un-Carrier 12 details, revealing a brand new, all-consuming unlimited plan for customers.
T-Mobile has officially announced Un-Carrier 12, revealing T-Mobile ONE as a brand new rate plate that offers truly all-you-can-eat data, with unlimited messaging and minutes as well. The new plan offers many of the benefits that the Un-Carrier has announced in previous events, including Mobile Without Borders, T-Mobile Tuesdays, Carrier Freedom, Wi-Fi Unleashed, and many others. It also brings over unlimited video streaming, too, but only if that content is streamed in standard definition.
As far as pricing goes, T-Mobile ONE is $70 for a single line. Adding a second line will see an additional $50 per month charge, while lines three through eight will cost $20 per month, per line. T-Mobile says a family of four can subscribe to T-Mobile ONE for $160 per month.
There are fees for extra features, though. First and foremost, if a customer wants to stream high definition content on the LTE network, they’ll need to pay $25 per month for HD Access — and that’s per line that wants HD streaming. Mobile hotspots offer unlimited 2G access, but getting 5GB of LTE data per month will cost an additional $15 per month, per device. A tablet on a T-Mobile ONE plan can get unlimited LTE data for $20 per month if it’s attached to a plan with a phone, or it costs $70 per month if it’s by itself. Wearables are $5 per month, per device, when added to a T-Mobile ONE plan — plus the cost of the device.
Finally, T-Mobile says the new T-Mobile ONE plan will become available on September 2. Current customers can stay on their current plans if they wish.
