The creator of Flappy Birds — Dong Nguyen — has launched his new game on the Play Store and App Store — Swing Copters.

Nguyen is using all the ingredients of his previous success in Swing Copters like 8-bit graphics, extremely tough and addictive gameplay and a free-to-play model to make sure he has another hit on his hand, but hopefully not something that is as successful as Flappy Birds, which at one point of time led him to remove the game from the various app stores.

The instructions to play the game on the Play Store are pretty simple. “Tap to change direction” and “Get 4 medals to unlock more characters”.

The game has no Settings option or anything else that can potentially distract the users from its addictive gameplay.

I have already played the game for a few minutes and can vouch for the fact that Nguyen has managed to come up with another addictive game that is going to wreck with the productivity of people all over the world.

A word of caution: The Play Store is already filled with many fake apps and games called Swing Copters. Double check to make sure that you are downloading the correct one and report the fake ones as spam.
