Star Trek fans, as you prepare to go Beyond, Meizu has you covered with a limited edition m3e as seen in these leaks. In the past other companies have released devices in conjunction with Superhero movies. Samsung had launched devices in conjunction with the Avengers movies.
The limited edition Meizu m3e will likely launch with the same specs as the regular M3. This means that we are looking at a 5.5-inch Full HD display, an octa-core MediaTek Helio P10 chipset, 3GB RAM, and 32GB storage space. It should also come with a 5MP f/2.2 selfie cam and a 13MP f/2.2 rear camera, with a 3,100mAh battery powering the device. All this will be enclosed in a unibody aluminium body with a very slim waistline.
As it is usually the case with superhero themed phones, the Meizu m3e will come with some a intergalactic theme and other minor modifications to its UI inline with its Star Trek theme.
The Star Trek Edition Meizu m3e is expected to launch exclusively in China on September 2nd — the same date on which the movie releases in the region.
