Beginning from today, the CyanogenMod team has started rolling out the stable version of CyanogenMod 10.1.0 (CM10.1) for all the supported devices in its repository. The stable version comes after months of bug-fixing, testing, adding new features and rolling out hundreds of nightly builds by the CyanogenMod team.
The stable version of CM10.1.0 will be available to all devices that got an RC build, except for some of the Exynos and Tegra 2 powered devices. For these devices, the CyanogenMod team will provide a status report sometime later this week.
Compared to the RCs (Release Candidates), the stable version only contains bug-fixes and minor usability tweaks. To get an idea of all the features included in CyanogenMod 10.1, you can read our CM10.1 vs. AOKP comparison article. You can download the stable version of CM10.1 for your devices from get.cm.
The CyanogenMod team recently introduced two new features – a per app incognito mode and a quick tile that allows you to snap photos quickly. Both of these features have been merged with the CyanogenMod source and will be available in the next nightly builds of your respective devices. However, these features won’t be present in the stable version of CM10.1.0 that was released today.
