Earlier on February 4, HTC revealed that the One (M7) had been green-lit to receive the update to Android 5.0.1 Lollipop, and that the update would begin rolling out on February 5.
Apparently Sprint had been stocking up on the software updates, because it has been revealed that the Samsung Galaxy S5 is also set to get upgraded beginning Thursday, February 5. This particular update will bring the Galaxy S5 up to version G900PVPU1AOA6, and it will feature Android 5.0 Lollipop front-and-center. It will also feature an “enhanced” VoWiFI UI and will see the removal of the Lumen tool bar.
