We have heard quite a lot about Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S10 up to this point, including an option that may include 5G support.

But now we’ve got a report from The Wall Street Journal that outlines Samsung is indeed going to have three variants of the Galaxy S10, and it’s also going to have a special edition option that will have more features than you can shake a stick at. That includes a giant, 6.7-inch display and up to six cameras. This special edition model, which is codenamed “Beyond X”, will also support 5G wireless networks as well.

The camera situation will see four cameras on the back, and two up front. The device’s display, as mentioned above, will be pretty big (the Galaxy Note 9’s screen is 6.4 inches), but there’s no word on what type of design it will have. Samsung recently introduced a variety of notch options back at its developers conference this year, and there have been rumors Samsung may introduce its “Infinity O” or “punch hole” design.

The report also echoes what we’ve heard previously, saying that the Galaxy S10 will come in a variety of models and sizes, with features improving from the base model (with a 5.8-inch display, no fingerprint reader, 64GB of built-in storage) up to this special edition model. The high-end options are said to feature in-display fingerprint readers as well.

According to this report, Samsung is already planning on staggering the launch, too. The three primary Galaxy S10 models will reportedly land first, after being announced sometime in mid-February. And then, at a later date and when carriers are offering 5G network coverage, the Beyond X will arrive then.

No word on pricing, but one can imagine most of these variants aren’t going to be cheap.
