Sprint launched the BlackBerry KEYone in the United States, as far as wireless carrier support goes, not too long ago. And now AT&T is getting in on the fun.
Today, AT&T announced that it will launch the BlackBerry KEYone on its network beginning September 1. The carrier also confirmed it will have an exclusive carrier, called Space Black, that will make future owners stand out against the standard KEYone units out there in the world. It will be priced at $16.67 per month for 30 months, by way of AT&T Next installment plans.
The Big Blue’s variant is not any different than the Sprint or unlocked BlackBerry KEYone, save for the Space Black color option. It still offers a 4.5-inch 1080p HD display, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of built-in storage, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor, a 3505mAh battery, and Android 7.1 Nougat. There’s a 12-megapixel camera on the back and an 8MP front-facing camera.
The KEYone is a solid mid-range device, and for anyone that misses the good old days of having a physical keyboard, it might be the perfect option. The “exclusive” part of AT&T’s launch is technically true in the United States, but a blacked-out model called the KEYone Limited Edition Black launched in India not too long ago, and this appears to be the same handset. But for anyone who doesn’t like the silver accents on the standard KEYone, the blacked-out model might be the way to go.

Does anyone already have a KEYone? If not, plan on picking one up?
