Last month, the HTC One M8 started receiving the official nightly builds for CyanogenMod 11. This month joining the handset is Sony’s latest flagship — the Xperia Z2. Unlike the One M8 though, the CM11 builds for the Xperia Z2 are unofficial and don’t come directly from the CyanogenMod team. (www.algerie360.com)

The unofficial builds comes courtesy of XDA member QuickS_NL and is based on the WIP (Work-In-Progress) CyanogenMod repository of the Xperia Z2 (Sirius). Since this is the first build, there are a few issues with the ROM including the Camera and NFC not working properly.

Chances are you will also encounter some random bugs here and there throughout the OS so if stability is your prime concern, better wait until the developer has ironed out these kinks.

Installing the ROM will require Z2 owners to unlock the bootloader of their device as well as install a custom recovery on it. If this is not a hassle for you, head over to this XDA thread for the download link and installation instructions.
