Over the weekend, we got the first glimpse of the Sony ‘Sirius’ Z2 and its new UI along with details about it screen size and processor. Today, thanks to DooMLord and XperiaBlogwe have some more details about this upcoming flagship from Sony.

The D6503 or the Sirius or the Xperia Z2 will sport a Qualcomm MSM8974AB chipset, instead of the MSM8974AC chip rumored earlier. Other confirmed specs of the handset include a 5.2-inch 1080p IPS display with on-screen navigation keys, 3GB of RAM, 2.1MP front camera and a 20.7MP Exmor R camera.

While DooMLorD has also provided some UI screenshots, they are all very old and based on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean. The handset, however, is confirmed to launch with Android 4.4 KitKat so there will be additional changes in UI/UX.

Earlier rumors and leaks suggest that the Xperia Z2 will come with an IP57 (Water and dust resistant) design and will pack in a bigger (5.2-inch) display inside the same dimensions as the Xperia Z1.
