Sony has announced a new mid-range handset, which will arrive in the United States in the early part of 2017.

Sony has announced the Xperia L1, which features a 5.5-inch 720p HD display and quad-core MediaTek processor under the hood. It also boasts a 13-megapixel rear camera, 5MP front-facing shooter, 2GB of RAM, and 16GB of built-in storage. The microSD card slot will host a 256GB memory card for expandable storage, and the handset has a USB Type-C port for charging.

The battery in the Xperia L1 is 2620mAh, there’s Wi-Fi and Bluetooth on board, and the handset is running Android 7.1 Nougat out of the box.

Sony says the Xperia L1 will arrive in April of this year in the United States, but doesn’t provide an official launch date, or just how much the handset will cost.
