Aside from revealing a bunch of insanely slim 4K TVs, a steel band variant of the Sony SmartWatch 3 and a few other devices, Sony also revealed that it will start rolling out the Lollipop update for its Xperia Z3 lineup of devices from next month (i.e. February).

The announcement was made by the COO of the company, Michael Fasulo, and was short on other details like when exactly the roll out will start and what all features it will bring. Sony’s Xperia Z3 lineup consists of the Xperia Z3, the Z3 Compact and the Z3 Tablet Compact.

Sony had confirmed back in October last year that it would be bringing the Lollipop update to the entire Xperia Z series. The company has already released AOSP Lollipop based builds for the Xperia Z1, Z2 and the Z3, though they lack basic calling functionality among other things.
