Almost 3 months after their initial unveiling, Sony today announced that it is bringing its entire Xperia X lineup of smartphones to the United States. The company has traditionally shied away from one of the biggest smartphone markets in the world, but it looks like with the Xperia X, it has changed its mind.

The company will be launching the Xperia X, Xperia X Performance, Xperia XA, and Xperia XA Ultra in the country to cater to the various price bands and customer needs. Sadly, the handsets are only going to launch in the United States by July at which point, they will be sold unlocked through various retailers like Amazon, B&H, and Sony’s own online store.

The Xperia X, a 5-inch 1080p handset sporting a Snapdragon 650 chipset and a 23MP camera with an F/2.0 aperture, goes on pre-order from today and starts shipping on June 26. The handset has been priced at $549.99.

The Xperia X Performance, the top of the line handset in Sony’s current X lineup, featuring a Snapdragon 820 chipset and a 23MP shooter will go on sale from July 17 from $699.99.

There are also the Xperia XA and XA Ultra. The former packs a bezel-less 5-inch display that is priced at $279.99, while the latter packs in a gigantic 6-inch display. More information about the Xperia XA and its Ultra can be found here. The Xperia XA goes on sale from July 17, while the Xperia XA Ultra goes on sale from July 24 for $369.99.
