Following HTC, Motorola and Nvidia, Sony has also  announced its roll-out plans for Android 5.0 Lollipop for its Xperia devices. The company intends to bring the sweetest version of Android yet to its “entire premium Z series.”

The full list of Xperia Z devices slated to get the Android 5.0 Lollipop update are as follows:

The first device to get the Android 5.0 Lollipop update will be the Z Ultra Google Play edition. As for other devices, Sony says that they will “start the update at beginning of 2015 for the core Xperia Z3 and Xperia Z2 series.”

The company also states that it is working hard on bringing the latest version of Android to all its devices as soon as possible. Sony will also be adding new features, functionality and user interface improvements with the Android 5.0 update, about which it will share more information soon.
