Some people like big phones. Some people like small phones. The Japanese consumer electronics giant launched a phone in their home country called the Z1F a little over a month ago. It has the exact same specs as the flagship Z1, except that the 5.0 inch 1080p panel was swapped out for a 4.3 inch 720p unit. Again, same Snapdragon 800, same 2 GB of RAM, same 20.7 megapixel camera, just more portable. Many of you have been asking companies to do this, to offer a smaller flagship with the exact same specs, but only Sony has managed to deliver.

Will this phone come to other markets?

According to a teeny tiny mistake made by Sony, the answer is yes. Sony China put up a device called the Z1s on their website, which means the phone will be sold in international markets. While Europe and America obviously haven’t been confirmed yet, the fact that the phone has even bothered to show up on a Sony website outside of Japan is a very encouraging sign.

Now the only two questions left are when and how much?
