Just a few days ago, OnePlus took to social networking and teased the upcoming launch of the OnePlus 3 in Soft Gold.

The gold variant of the OnePlus 3 hasn’t been a secret by any means, with it being announced along with the Graphite version of the handset earlier this year. OnePlus’s CEO even said that the model would be available in the “latter part of July,” but with no specific dates to provide at the time.

That’s finally changed, as OnePlus has officially announced that the Soft Gold OnePlus 3 will become available to purchase, no invite necessary, beginning Tuesday, July 26.

“Today, we’re introducing a new color variant of the OnePlus 3 – Soft Gold. This isn’t your typical gaudy gold smartphone. We’ve toned the color down for a light, elegant look. To complement this more low-profile take on gold, we went with a subtle texture reminiscent of holding fine, silky-soft sand. Press photos and product renders don’t do it justice; you’ll have to experience the OnePlus 3 Soft Gold for yourself to truly understand what sets it apart.”

In the United States, the Soft Gold variant of the OnePlus 3 will become available at 9:00 AM PT/12:00 PM ET. It’ll be available through OnePlus’s official website. OnePlus has confirmed the handset will launch in other regions beginning August 1. It’ll be priced similarly to the Graphite version.
