Announced in February, the 4.7 inch HTC One recently got a smaller brother called the One Mini which has a 4.3 inch screen. Soon we’re going to find out about the One’s long lost sister, the 5.9 inch One Max. When will HTC announce the Max? How long until it’s on store shelves? Will American operators even carry the device? All perfectly good questions I don’t have the answer to, but what I do have are a slew of new images of the device.
As you can tell, it’s basically the One, but larger. This Max in particular is a special model for China Unicom, so it has a removable battery cover and microSD card slot. I highly doubt the American and European variants of this device will come with the same sort of features.
Speaking about features, you’ve probably spotted the fingerprint scanner. That’s now pretty much guaranteed. What’s also new is a camera feature that allows you to snap a photo with both the front and rear facing cameras at the same time. This obviously isn’t new, but hey, nice to see it in there anyway for people who want to selfie whatever it is happens to be in front of them.
