Microsoft expanded the functionality within its productivity apps with giving Dropbox integration in Android smartphones the green light, but that’s not all the company is tweaking.

As revealed by the Skype blog, the latest update for the app, which should be available for Android smartphones now, will allow for one major change for heavy users: The new Skype for Android will let users send pictures to users in their friend’s list, even if they happen to be offline when it’s sent. Of course, the update also includes the ability to share photos with online contacts as well.

The latest update brings the app up to version 5.2. Microsoft says that the update should also make chats load faster, including when that chat thread is opened from a notification. Overall call quality should get a nice boost as well.
