HTC’s latest and greatest flagship — the HTC One (M8) — runs on a new version of Sense, dubbed SixthSense, that brings in an enhanced version of BlinkFeed and takes advantage of some of the new APIs introduced in KitKat. HTC had announced that it will be bringing the latest version of Sense 6.0 to its older generation of One devices as well sometime later this year.
Today, thanks to HTC’s US President Jason MacKenzie, we now have a timeframe as to when the update is expected to land. According to him, the Sense 6.0 update will be pushed to existing One (M7) owners by the end of May. Keeping in mind that Jason is the President of HTC’s operations in the United States, it is very well possible that we may see the Sense 6.0 update being pushed to the European variants of One at least a couple of weeks earlier.
Reminder that Sense 6 will push to current HTC One users by end of May. #htcadvantage

Sense 6.0 includes quite a few new goodies including Motion Launch, an updated Gallery and Music Player app and slightly re-designed core Sense apps that also take advantage of the translucent status bar APIs in Android 4.4 KitKat.
