Easily send directions to your Android device

Starting from today, Google is making it easier for Android users to send Google Maps directions from their PC to their Android device.

Next time you want to send a location of a particular place to you Android device, simply do a Google Search for “Send directions.” You will then be displayed a mini map with your phone’s location filled in the ‘My Location’ box. Simply key in the address of the location you want to navigate to in the box below it, and then select the ‘Send directions to my phone’ option at the bottom. Within a second or two, the directions to navigate to your specified address will show up on your Android device.

Google had introduced a similar ‘Find my phone’ functionality via Google.com towards the middle of this month.
