If you happen to dislike a manufacturer’s branding being all over your phone, and if you happen to live in Japan, the Galaxy Note 7 may be something to consider.

As discovered by SamMobile from Samsung Japan’s website, the Galaxy Note 7 doesn’t appear to feature any type of branding on the device at all. There’s no Samsung logo on the front, and there’s no “Galaxy Note7” or Samsung logo on the back of the handset, either. It’s all very streamlined, to say the least.

Unfortunately there’s no word from Samsung at this point why the phablet doesn’t have any of the company’s branding on it, and it’s not likely that we’ll see this methodology adopted in any other market at this point. But, for the optimists out there, perhaps this is a sign of things to come?
