Samsung is no stranger to launching special editions of its flagship handsets. Last year, the company launched a special Batman-themed edition of the Galaxy S7 edge, and this year, it is launching a ‘Pirates of The Caribbean’ themed Galaxy S8.

The specs of the phone remain the same as the regular Galaxy S8. You get 4GB RAM, 64GB storage, a 3000mAh battery, and an octa-core Snapdragon 835 chipset clocked at 2.35GHz.

The handset retails for $880 and that extra premium over the regular Galaxy S8 gets you the phone in a fancy pirate chest, a Pirates of The Carribean themed case, and some exclusive wallpapers and themes related to the movie being preloaded on the handset.

There really is no reason for anyone to buy this special edition of the Galaxy S8. But if you are a Pirates of The Caribbean fan and have the money to blow, go ahead and show your fanboyism to the world by spending money on this special edition Galaxy S8.
