Both variants of the Gear S2 come with a circular 1.2-inch display with a resolution of 360 x 360. Under the hood, it is powered by a 1GHz dual core processor, 512MB RAM, 4GB storage space and sports connectivity options like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, NFC. The smartwatch also comes with an accelerometer, gyroscope, heart rate sensor, ambient light sensor, a barometer, and has an IP68 certification.

Samsung will also be offering a 3G variant of the Gear S2 that features an e-SIM with voice calling capability. While the normal Gear S2 comes with a 250mAh battery, the Gear S2 classic features a 300mAh battery, which Samsung says is enough to power the smartwatch for two days.
