If reports from the Korean media are to be believed, Samsung has sold nearly 4.5 million units of the Galaxy Note 4 in the first month of its launch.
Nevertheless, this is 500k units less than what the Galaxy Note 3 managed in its first month. However, the Galaxy Note 4 launch was crippled with supply issues initially and it was only available in Korea and China in the first month of its launch.
It was only last week that the phablet went on sale on all the four major carriers in the United States and most of the other major markets of the world including India and the United Kingdom.
While the Note 4 sales figure don’t hold a candle to the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus sales figure, Samsung will be pleased to see that the interest and growth of its Note series has not dwindled down.
The company’s growth has slowed down greatly in 2014. In the second quarter of this year, its market share hit an all time low since 2012 and it also missed the analysts profit estimates by a significant margin.
