Samsung Galaxy S6 event invite

Samsung has started sending out invites for its next Galaxy Unpacked event that will be held at the 2015 on March 1st at the Mobile World Congress 2015 in Barcelona, Spain. The Korean giant is expected to unveil its next-gen flagship — the Galaxy S6 — at the event.

The invite shows a handset with a curve that is reminiscent of the Galaxy Note Edge and carries a “What’s Next” tagline. It is possible that the Galaxy S6 will come with an edge display like the Galaxy Note Edge or Samsung might unveil two variants of the device — one with a normal screen and another one with a curved screen.

While the Samsung Galaxy S6 is yet to leak in pictures, quite a lot of details about the handset’s internals have already leaked on the Internet. The device will be using Samsung’s own in-house Exynos processor and will feature a Quad HD display, 4GB RAM and a touch-based fingerprint sensor. The company is also looking to tone down its TouchWiz user interface on the S6 and optimise it to make the handset as smooth as the Nexus 6.
